Boffins is excited to be the official bookseller at Scribblers Festival - an annual festival of literature and arts for young people.
The festival believes in the power of books and creativity as tools to help kids and teens better understand the world they live in and the worlds within them. With programming just for Schools and a weekend for the whole Family, Scribblers Festival invites kids and young adults of all ages to celebrate the magic of storytelling!
Boffins is delighted to be a part of this year's Scribbler's Festival Family Program! At the Festival you'll find a wide range of brilliant Australian children's book writers and illustrators who will be familiar names - from blockbuster writers Jessica Townsend and Amie Kaufman, to fan favourite R.A. Spratt. We're delighted that illustrator Anna Walker and her long time collaborator Jane Godwin will be attending, along with many wonderful local writers including T.C. Shelley, Mark Greenwood, Gavin Aung Than, Helen Milroy and many more!
Scribblers Festival's Family Program will take place at Subiaco Arts Centre from 29-30 May, with plenty of sessions, workshops and activities for young people to take part in accross the weekend. Click here to visit the Scribblers Festival site.
