Join us with Gourmet Farmer Matthew Evans for an afternoon of seasonal canapés and wines overlooking the picturesque virgin jarrah forests at Millbrook Winery.
Matthew will be talking in conversation with Max Veenhuyzen, Australian Gourmet Traveller state editor about his food philosophy and his new book Summer on Fat Pig Farm. Millbrook wines and canapés utilising the heirloom vegetable garden will be served.
Summer on Fat Pig Farm is a celebration of the season of surplus, a time when the sun is high and the cooking is easy. Summer, when the garden prospers, the berries ripen and the aroma of fresh herbs lingers in the air. Summer cooking is maximising the flavours of the season, using the best from the land, without cooking the cook. Summer is most apparent on the plate.
Tickets cost $120 per person, includes a copy of Summer on Fat Pig Farm ($49.99) or $180 for a couple with one book. To book your tickets contact Millbrook Winery on (08) 9525 5648 or functions@millbrookwinery.com.au
Can't make it? We'll happily have a copy of Matthew Evans' Summer on Fat Pig Farm signed for you. Simply contact us via phone, email, online or visit us in-store, and we'll take care of the rest.
