In conjunction with its reopening, following its 2020 25 renovation, The Frick Collection commissioned porcelain flowers from Ukrainian sculptor Vladimir Kanevsky. Some twenty arrangements evoke the fresh flowers displayed throughout the museum when it first opened to the public, in 1935.
