The Industrial Revolution is often studied in regards to the major global shift it caused, however in depth local histories of the places that drove this shift is rarely explored exclusively. 'Lancastrians' addresses this disparity by soley focusing on the historical identities present in North-West England, and how this has had social and economic ramifications both during the industrial revolution and onwards into the present day.
A great read for those wanting to expand their knowledge on British History.
